Arc Human Services is seeking Independent Support Staff and Client Transportation candidate to join our team! This position is Part Time.

Job Description:
In addition to Independent Support care this person would mainly be responsible for driving clients to work, appointments and outings etc. in the Washington and Westmoreland area. Company car is provided. Independent Support Staff (ISS) position assists program participants in the development of independent living skills, behavior strategies, self-advocacy and prepares participants to become more independent in their homes, schools, communities, volunteer opportunities, or in preparation for employment opportunities. This position is primarily focused on supporting people in the community or their private homes. An Independent Support Staff person will work closely with the program participant and their family. Most available hours are daylight hours with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications
• One-year prior experience working with children or adults with an intellectual or developmental
disability required- Complete PAID training provided!
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid PA Driver's License
• Driving clients with company car to appointments, to and from work, shopping etc.
• Candidate will need to have the ability to pass background checks, physical, TB (ALL company paid!) - must regularly lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally /or move or lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
