Qualifications:
• Experience helpful, but not necessary- Complete PAID training provided!
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid PA Driver's License
• Ability to pass background checks, physical, TB (ALL company paid!)
SUMMARY:
This position reports directly to the Janitorial Supervisor; works directly with individuals employed by Arc as well as individuals who are referred by an outside agency for janitorial training purposes. This position may work directly with the Community Based Specialist pertaining to serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in our employment-training program. This position has the overall responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals who are working in the janitorial
program. This position may be responsible for working with individuals with disabilities who work in the program and ensuring that all janitorial contracts are being met as outlined in the duties to be performed section. This position is also responsible to report all necessary repairs or unsafe conditions to client whom is receiving janitorial services. This position requires the understanding and following of agency policies and procedures. This position consists of M-F shifts, and infrequent weekend shifts that are scheduled in advance. Shifts could vary slightly dependent on programmatic needs. Schedule changes are at the
discretion of the Janitorial Supervisor. The Janitorial Laborer will act as ambassadors for the agency's mission and values by demonstrating and maintaining a positive attitude, in both the workplace and the community, regarding the quality of services provided by our agency.
