Trust Associate I
Section 1: Position Summary
Responsible for transaction processing, organizing and administering client documents, providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients while understanding and following policies and procedures.
Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review client requests to confirm documentation is complete and transactions comply with requirements, and follow-up on incomplete requests as needed
- Process daily deposits
- Process and distribute incoming & outgoing mail
- Process transaction requests, input data and proof reports
- Process new account setup, including Welcome Letters and other client notifications
- Load documents into imagining system and scan/distribute documents
- Meet / exceed all quality, productivity, and turnaround goals
- Provide telephone and website customer service
- Order and stock supplies
- Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
- College level classes in business and accounting is desirable
- Meet or exceed all quality, productivity, and turnaround goals
- Experience in financial services industry is preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to proof
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Self-directed with ability to take initiative
- Work closely with others in a team setting
- Bilingual Spanish very desirable
- Software Skills: Access, MS Office 2007 (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Knowledge of math, accounting, and reconciliation functions
- Basic knowledge of tax qualified individual (IRA) or employer retirement plans (401k) characteristics is preferred
- Utilize effective research skills
