RECREATION & EVENTS DIRECTOR

(PART TIME)

The Borough of Baldwin, Pennsylvania is accepting applications for the newly created position of Recreation & Events Director. This is a part time, non-union position. The hourly wage is between $17.00/hr $19.00/hr DOQ. The Director will be responsible for managing the new Department including working with the youth athletic associations in the Borough and the all-volunteer Community Events Advisory Committee to guide, expand and assist with the already wide range of recreation programs and to develop new ones for the Borough. The Director will serve as an ex-officio member of the Community Events Advisory Committee. The employee will function with wide latitude under the direction of the Borough Manager and within the framework of policies established by Borough Council. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work well within a team environment. Minimum qualifications include completion of a relevant BS/BA degree from a 4-year college/university with at least 3 years equivalent experience in the hospitality/event planning or Park & Recreation field.
