Social Service Coordinator

The Borough of Baldwin is accepting applications for a newly created position, Social Services Coordinator. This full-time, professional position is expected to work under minimal supervision and will be responsible for the coordination/ delivery of social services. Services include, but are not limited to, crisis intervention, violent crimes, traumatic incidents, short-term counseling, and agency consultation. This position also mandates an outreach component, including but not limited to, community involvement, educational components, and working with our community partners. Prospective candidates must have a master’s degree in social work and a minimum of 3 years related work experience, experience in crisis intervention, providing mental health services, working knowledge of social work practices and procedures relating to government laws and the law enforcement environment, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills and a valid PA Driver’s License. This position reports directly to the Chief of Police.

This is a Full Time, salaried, non-union, administrative position with benefits package (health, vision and retirement), paid time off and paid holidays. Starting salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 DOQ. Full job description is available at www.baldwinborough.org
