ECREATION & EVENTS DIRECTOR
The Borough of Forest Hills seeks applicants for the salaried position of Full Time Recreation & Events Director. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in operating a public recreational facility, including background in pool safety and operation and at least 1-2 years’ experience in a senior role in the Event management environment with 4 years or more of progressive event management experience preferred. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a pool operator’s license and other required health/safety certifications is essential.
Minimum requirement of a relevant degree from an accredited 4 year college/university or equivalent experience with a hotel/hospitality degree preferred.
