Accelerated Leadership Development Program (Manager in Training)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager-In-Training will rotate quarterly within multiple departments including but not limited to Food and Beverage, Hotel and Resort Operations, Spa, Banquets, Activities, Wildlife, Retail, Associate Living, Learning and Development, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and more . Our next class begins in June 2024. The candidate in this role will also attend classes – including but not limited to – a blending learning concept to prepare the individual for a potential leadership role upon completion of the program. Regular and prompt attendance as well as the ability to work a variety of schedules depending on department needs to further the candidate's experience and skill set is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Hospitality and/or related degree preferred.
- Work authorization in the US
- Superior critical thinking & interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to foster relationships & work collaboratively
- Our next cohort will need to be able to start the program as early as June 1, 2024, as there are extremely limited spaces remaining.
Upon successful completion of this program, students have the potential to move into full-time leadership roles. This position is a paid position and is not considered an internship or externship, but may have similar qualities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and more. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information, comfortable speaking in front of large groups, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, guests, members, and the general public. Must be able to speak the English language. All listed above is a general overview and may include more or less in relation to the position, role, and current learning objectives.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts including but not limited to: discounts, interests, commission, proportions, area, percentages, circumference, and volume. Able to apply these concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, feel, or feel; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision requirements of this role include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
