Accounting Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide analytical, reporting, forecasting, and project support to accounting team
• Produce daily/monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
• Helps with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify opportunities for process automatization in accounting department 
• Develop models that help with decision-making
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
• Month end tasks, account reconciliations, and misc daily duties

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail required
• Accounting experience is preferred
• Must be organized and neat
• Fast learner, results oriented, self-driven
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
