Lead Surveillance Operator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Deliver internal and external guest service the Nemacolin way. Goes above and beyond – whether for an associate or guest.
- Responds to calls requesting the need for surveillance coverage.
- Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Conducts surveillance through the CCTV system – utilizing the necessary equipment to observe, report and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
- Ensures employees are monitoring certain operations in the business to compliant standards.
- Communicates violations in a timely manner to appropriate supervisory personnel and follows up with accurate and detailed documentation.
- Conducts digital video reviews as assigned.
- Responsible for accurate and efficient operation of procedures within designated department.
- Oversees the Surveillance Operators and provides training and mentoring as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in surveillance preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity required.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate Microsoft Office Programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Independently initiates, follows-up on, and complete assignments as well as special projects.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
- Must be able to complete and obtain all necessary licensing requirements and certifications as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry helpful.
- Demonstrates interpersonal sound judgment and decision-making skills in directing administrative tasks, using discretion when necessary, understanding the potential impact on the department.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as through a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a surveillance or related role.
