JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare written daily orders
- Ability to organize and delegate work assignments/tasks
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and griddles
- Actively participates with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble all outlets food
- Adheres to control procedure for food costs and quality
- Abide by all health codes and hand washing guidelines
- Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency
of product to the guest - Ability to read and gather all necessary items for recipe execution
- Ability to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to subordinates
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Be able to prepare an order list for recipe preparations
- Preparing mise en place items for preparations to coincide with menus
- Ability to recite recipes from memory
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Employees in this position may be assigned to work in other Food & Beverage positions that require the same type of license.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Requires a minimum of one-year experience in food preparation and food knowledge
- Must complete all required company training
