The VIP Ambassador is responsible for creating guest satisfaction by providing efficient, effective, and extraordinary service. The individual in this position includes detailed information to guests regarding resort services, facilities, dining options, activities, and local attractions. Additionally, the VIP Arrival Ambassador must develop and maintain positive relationships with guests and associates, communicate effectively on all levels, and demonstrate technical and customer service skills. This individual also assembles and speaks the VIP itinerary before arrival and departure to assist with resort accommodations and ensure that expectations are exceeded.

Essential Functions:

  • Creating the ultimate in guest satisfaction by providing fast and courteous service
  • Assembling and Communicating our Resort VIP’s itinerary are recognized, and detailed information is delivered to assure standards of VIP guest experience is executed.
  • Overseeing amenity distribution and execution
  • Giving personal attention to VIP guests in order to exceed their expectations
  • Contacting returning VIP guests meeting specific criteria in order to assist them in planning their stay
  • Responds to any guest issues or complaints filed to provide service recovery and guest retention
  • Maintaining knowledge of the resort’s services, amenities, and attractions
  • Personally greeting VIP guests in the Chateau lobby or upon initial contact
  • Keeping updated information regarding hours of operation, menus, and special packages available at all times
  • Make reservations for onsite and offsite dining, activities, and entertainment if necessary
  • Demonstrating knowledge of various local and historical attractions and exhibiting a willingness to learn about the extensive art collection displayed throughout the resort
  • Listening to any complaints that may arise and working to resolve any issues that guests may be experiencing during their stay
  • Utilizing empowerment to resolve guest issues
  • Contacting guests upon departure in order to review their stay, discuss any challenges, and demonstrate appreciation for their patronage
  • Promoting resort services and amenities
  • Remaining current with all property management systems such as LMS, SPASOFT, ARTS, and The leader, as well as membership software and GMS
  • Understanding Casino operations, Access Plan, and Comp Program
  • Fostering teamwork in an environment that motivates and sustains exceptional levels of performance
  • Upselling available accommodations and services and making alternative suggestions as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • The candidate must have the ability to speak English fluently
  • The candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience in the hospitality and sale industry
  • Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
