Loan Clerk/Processor is responsible for facilitating the loan application, approval and closing process for the full range of loan types and affiliated ancillary products and services available to the Credit Union members while complying with and adhering to government regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures.  The individual will also be responsible for performing a variety of other support duties related to the lending function within the credit union.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet and/or exceed credit union assigned objectives and goals.
• Ability to manage and maintain member relationships to achieve primary financial institution relationships (PFI)
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the current and evolving products and services, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Properly Identify member or potential members and document or update member records-based upon interactions and current data.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services offered.
• Manage and maintain all member or potential member inquires and servicing needs in person, by phone, or through electronic access channels.
• Review and obtain all required loan application information, required documentation, and related documents ensuring completeness along with distributing required regulatory documentation within regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain Title & Lien perfections, tracking and release upon loan satisfaction.
• Maintain Insurance tracking, maintenance, processing, and filing.

Qualifications:

• Requires direct lending or related experience of 2-5 years.
• Must pass related background checks with no criminal records.
• May be required to pass an illegal Drug and Alcohol screening.
• Valid Unexpired Driver's License with the ability to work in various locations as needed.
• Professional appearance required with No Visible tattoo’s or facial & tongue piercings.
