Program Specialist

 

Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for the position of Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) Eastern Region Program Specialist. This is a full-time, benefits eligible, grant funded position. Bachelor's degree in communications, creative or professional writing, marketing or related field desired. Experience with educational technology and online learning tools including video production and editing online courses in Canvas Learning Management System. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required, including the ability to coordinate and prioritize in fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include program management, event planning and communication processes for the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Regional Program. Manage all programmatic databases and online forms. Track programmatic data and calculate program statistical reports, and maintain staff agenda/action items. The program is responsible for disseminating the TPS program to 17 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
